Every harvest is a snapshot of a single season in the mountains. This year’s prolonged drought transformed the landscape, encouraging our bees to forage across an extraordinary diversity of native Appalachian blooms. The result is a refined wildflower honey with graceful floral complexity, gentle sweetness and exceptional balance. With little Tulip Poplar nectar available, this vintage is less about the dominance of any one flower and more about the remarkable tapestry of the Pisgah Forest itself.
Exceptional Natural Antibacterial Activity
Our 2026 Smoky Mountain Wildflower Honey averaged an extraordinary Total Activity (TA) of 42.3 across three independently tested apiary samples, demonstrating exceptionally high natural antibacterial activity.
Independent testing by ALS Laboratories in New Zealand also confirmed the purity and integrity of our 2026 harvest, with no detectable pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics or added sugars among the compounds tested.
Every jar is 100% raw, single-origin honey that is never blended, infused or altered.
