Smoky Mountain Wildflower This year’s prolonged drought transformed the landscape, encouraging our bees to forage across an extraordinary diversity of native Appalachian blooms. The result is a refined wildflower honey with graceful floral complexity, gentle sweetness and exceptional balance. With little Tulip Poplar nectar available, this vintage is less about the dominance of any one flower and more about the remarkable tapestry of the Pisgah Forest itself.
Summersweet Wildflower Our 2026 Summer Sweet Honey is a midsummer blend, offering a smooth, mellow sweetness that’s gentler than the bold, robust flavor of our spring Smoky Mountain Wildflower Honey. It possesses clover, basswood and sourwood nectar, and as the tulip poplar bloom ages, it produces more glucose. The result is a light amber honey with an elegant, sweeter flavor.
Raw, single-origin Appalachian wildflower honey from our mountain apiaries bordering the Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina. Independently laboratory tested for purity, adulteration and natural antibacterial activity.
Our 2026 Smoky Mountain Wildflower Honey averaged an extraordinary Total Activity (TA) of 42.3 across three independently tested apiary samples, demonstrating exceptionally high natural antibacterial activity. Our signature 2026 wildflower honey has tested in the top 1-2% of honeys worldwide for Total Activity (TA) value. Bursts with the rich, robust flavor of nectars from over 200 native Appalachian plants.
Independent testing by ALS Laboratories in New Zealand also confirmed the purity and integrity of our 2026 harvest, with no detectable pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics or added sugars among the compounds tested.
Every jar is 100% raw, single-origin honey that is never blended, infused or altered.
